An Anderson Cooper Drinking Game

So those of you who know me well know that I was mad when CNN fired Aaron Brown and replaced him with Anderson Cooper. I thought it was stupid move and I still do. That being said, I think that Cooper is an outstanding journalist in the field reporting. He just isn't great anchoring behind a desk. I really enjoy his world-tour of reporting, whether from Africa or New Orleans. He's simply great when reporting. But one thing I have noticed is that he says "uh" or "uhm" a lot, which is surprising for a reporter.

He reported from the street below Cory Lidle's plane crash on Wednesday. One of the blogs I read daily, TVNewser suggests this drinking game based on his reporting Wednesday...

"Count the number of times Cooper says "uh" and "um" during a newscast, and drink every time. It won't take you long to blackout; on Wednesday, when he was reporting on the NYC plane crash from 4pm to midnight, Cooper uhhed and ummed a total of 184 times.

That's 23 drinks an hour; you'd have passed out way before 360 [at 10pm]..."

Anyway, I thought it was rather amusing and I'd share it with you.
